Partners In Crime!

Partners In Crime was started back in 2004 by John and Rob in their first year at College. One day their C.M.C. (Computer Mediated Communication, and no, we don't know what that means either) teacher called them Partners In Crime because they hung out so much. They decided to keep the name and use it for all projects they did together. The first project ever done under the Partners In Crime name was two Anime music videos done using song from Rob's and his friend's Bands and the Anime FLCL. (You should check the Video section because we might have put them there for you to download!)

After watching a lot of Red Vs. Blue the group thought to themselves "Why can't we do something like that?" And Project Legacy was born. The first script was cooked up by Rob and John and was fairly basic. It was filled with dumb jokes and really bad plot holes but was still impressive considering the amount of money (or lack of it) put in. The group used Xboxs both owned and borrowed to film and John's Lyra AV Jukebox to record. Rob then took all the footage and edited together using Windows Movie Maker. Voices were provided by personal friends and the production company itself (Mostly Rob) using Windows Sound Recorder. Strangely enough all this did not stop them from making more and before finally shutting down for the summer they had written 10 episodes and produced six.

Over the summer Partners In Crime from two to three as Rob's twin brother Matt (The voice of Boneless) joined the team. Even though Partners In Crime did not meet for two whole months at the beginning of Summer, Rob continued to write the Scripts for the next Project, a Project Legacy Movie, based on ideas thought of just before leaving school. The script took only two, ten hour sessions to write and was a total of fifty pages long. Over the two months, the script was revised and most of the audio was recorded before school started again this year. Unfortunately disaster struck when the External Hard Drive ALL of Project Legacy was held on crashed, losing all the work we had done over the summer.

Luckily for everyone, John had an extra copy of the script on his computer so the show will still go on. The team is right now frantically trying to rebuild from its loss as well as update this site...

Now that the Partners In Crime are up and running we can tell you about the changes that have been made. We no longer use John's AV Jukebox, but instead a video capture card installed in Matt's computer and hooked up to an Xbox. We also do not edit the video in Windows Movie Maker but instead in the ultra cool Pinnacle Studio 9. And voices are recorded and edited in Audacity.
